Fantastic small town atmosphere, friendly counter Staff Kinda like your grandma was serving you. Soup like home made and great sandwiches.

Friendly staff - perfect sandwich! Plus you can stock up and a lot of other meats, cheeses, condiments and desserts.

Mecca trip to Yukon Meat? It was the first thing on Peter S's and my agenda when we visited Whitehorse this past month.

Sandwich made to order - great idea. Pick your meat and they slice it for your sandwich. Pick your bread - lots of choices. I ordered sourdough bread but it was a little dried on the outside - so a little disappointing. Pick your condiments and veggies - lots to choose from. Had a side potato salad - it was good. Great selection of lunch items!

The staff at the visitor centre were so enthusiastic in their recommendation, I wondered if they got a kick back... but I think it is because it is just a such a great place. Interesting to stroll around, great smells and lots of variety.
