Golden Corral Buffet Grill - Whitehall

Decent but felt a little dingy. Hard to give a fair review as they haven't fully opened post-covid and seem to be suffering from staff shortages as the rest of the hospitality industry is. Hotess was polite and quickly took care of customers, empty food quickly refilled on the buffet. Limited choices but again not surprising considering staffing.

The gentleman who was cooking steaks that evening was terrific. I asked for my steak to be completely cooked. He told me that I can sit and when it was ready he shouted out for me to come get it. The food was very tasty and hot. The dining room tables needed more attention as well as the customers. The people out on the floor were huddled together talking and laughing instead of taking care of the tables and customers. If you want great tasting hot food, a perfect place. However, their front people need training on how to take care of their area and customer gratification.

We had a dinner of 4:00 and everything was fresh from salads to deserts. Griller was wonderful. He cooked for perfection. Our server was immediately added to a good meal.

The food stations are always filled servers are nice and helpful. The variety of dishes are great, you can even see their employees in the Dessert section bake their items fresh. If this restaurant is recommended and if you are here, they are a must, we even bought them to go.

Very clean restaurant. Friendly service from our waitress alicia. She had the best smiling great attitude and personality. I hope anyone going gets her. Restaurants need more Alicia's working. Ty to her
