Forgotten Taste Pierogies - WEXFORD

This place did not disappoint! Spinach and Feta pierogis and Meatballsand gravy were delicious. Bowtie pasta and cabbage we on point. Potato and cheese pierogis weren't my favorite, but that was a matter of personal preference as everyone else in my group loved them. Definitely recommend!

The perogies at this restaurant are fantastic, just like homemade by your grandmother, but with a wide variety of fillings. They are far superior to anything you can find at other food establishments.

I grew up eating pierogies in a family with lineage from the Ukraine and Poland. I was overjoyed to discover they're a staple in the Pittsburgh area so I could have the taste of home even though I'm thousands of miles from where I grew up. Forgotten Taste is the real thing, eat bite tastes like it was made by hand with love. You won't find a broader selection of pierogies anywhere and you can get them hot to eat there or by the pound frozen to take home. They also have other classics like stuffed cabbage and haluski. Definitely recommend for an authentic taste of Eastern Europe.

If you haven't had REAL perogies before then you owe yourself a visit to Forgotten Taste Pierogies! I had the buffalo chicken style and took home 2 dz frozen potato. Haluski was good as well!
