Mc Quades Marketplace - Westerly

I've been shopping here for 26 years. It's more expensive than some other grocery stores but I like the quality. But the past few years the coolers and freezers are always breaking down. I've gotten home and had sour yogurt, milk etc. And today is the third time I got home and the ice cream I bought was soup. Step it up Mcquades! You charge enough money to get new coolers and freezers!

We have been faithful and now very loyal customers of McQ in Westerly. We have been emailing our list for Mon, Weds or Friday pick-up and (1) they have been incredibly polite and (2) they have been very accurate in selecting exactly what we've ordered.We LOVE McQuades!

Shelves are mostly stocked at all times.quick in and out...parking lot is a bit scary however

This is a fantastic spot for grocery shopping, with a great selection of items. McQuade's offers excellent quality in their deli and bakery, although it can be a bit expensive. If you're willing to spend a little, McQuade's is definitely worth it. I want to highlight two things: their seafood is outstanding, and their bakery is absolutely amazing.

I was denied a refund for some defective Christmas lights. The manager claimed he checked them and didn’t find any issues, but when I got home and plugged them in, they were just as defective as when I hung them. I even took photos and sent them in a text to the store, but so far, I haven’t received any response. I’ve lived in the Westerly area for 25 years and always made an effort to support local businesses, even when their prices are higher than those of large chain stores. I will continue to support local businesses, but I will not give my patronage to a company that makes me feel like a liar or a thief.
