Abbey Friar - West Dorset

I've been going to abbey for years. at the beginning they served the best fishing and chips to meile. in the best year it is on the hill. I think that the oil they use, how changed, leaves the fish almost tasteless. the last fish and chips I had from them had a green tone. the dough was boiled and looked like a paper paste. I left the chips and I was almost sick on the way home. how many other companies in the opposite are they cutting corners and it begins to show.

Great reception. great sharp protector and especially amazing fish and chips. will return! visit from london and amazing choice and quality. highly recommended.

Standard cod and chips together with a curry sauce ordered. fish and chips were nice, but the curry sauce wasn't great. service was friendly.

Fantastic fish, chips muddy heaps! martin stepshen are great young who make you feel so welcome! cannot remember ever having better fish chips!

Cod damnit, this Plaice Batters the senses. Don't have a Chip on you're shoulder by missing out, its fabulous. Scampi on down if your in the area. Tatar for now
