Yo Sushimi - West Branch

Stopped in with my little one a few weeks ago because we were hungry for sushi. We left because of the foul language being used by one of the staff. Disappointed but didn’t feel comfortable staying.

Get the nachos! We normally come in and grab food to go but we decided to do a date night and come in to try more of the menu. We ordered a few different things the nachos were so so good. Everything was extremely fresh. The chef puts a lot of thought into each dish and takes pride in providing good food. He has really mastered a delicious sushi place. Can’t wait for our next date night to try more things! Service is great too! I also love that they have a kids menu so we can bring our daughter and she has options other than sushi. All In all I proudly give 10/10

My new favorite stop whenever I’m in town. The food is so fresh, and never disappoints!!

I was really excited to see this Sushi restaurant open in West Branch because these not another for at least an hour. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. I ordered 2 different rolls and neither tasted fresh. I ate about half of each but honestly couldn't bring myself to go further. I also ordered an egg roll and it was not good either. I only had a couple bites. My server wasn't even mildly attentive. She constantly sat down to mess with her phone. She never filled my water even once and while I can't say she was rude she sure wasn't friendly. It took almost half an hour to get my food and there was only 1 other person in the restaurant. The other thing that really bugged me was the chef was blasting heavy metal music the whole time I was there. It was a horrible experience.
