King Buffet - Wausau

The food is excellent, and there’s a great variety—many dishes you won’t find in Chinese buffets around Chicagoland. The ice cream is also fantastic, made with real milk. However, I deducted one star because we were charged nearly $4 for tea for two people. In my 20 years of dining at Chinese buffets, I’ve never been charged for tea before. It would be better for the restaurant to simply raise their entry prices by $3-4 instead of adding unexpected fees without prior notice.

This restaurant is doing everything necessary to ensure our safety. It's clean, and the staff is incredibly kind and helpful. I also love the food! It's always fresh and served hot, with exceptional flavor. Definitely a win in my book!

I enjoyed about 95% of my meal. The staff was friendly and efficient. However, it was a bit challenging to find a napkin other than the one wrapped around my utensils—perhaps you need to request them? While the waitstaff were very efficient, their attention seemed to wane once I was seated. They quickly shifted their focus to bussing tables and guiding other guests to their seats on this busy day.

The food was excellent, and they consistently offer a fantastic variety. I'm very happy with my overall experience.

The seating area has been beautifully upgraded. It looks fantastic! There is a 3% surcharge for credit card payments on the total bill. As always, the food is delicious. I highly recommend visiting for lunch when they open, as I think the food tastes the best at that time.
