Chef Paul Catering catered and supported an event for a wedding I coordinated this past weekend. They exceeded ALL expectations in professionalism, quality, and value. They were 100% on top of the work they did and their food was absolutely DELICIOUS. Don't mess around with local restaurants doing delivery of their menu items....it's NOT the same. Chef Paul Catering is a MUST USE for anyone in the Lake County, IL or nearby areas. Ginger, the owner, is far and away the best catering chef I've ever used. We used them for our wedding on 9/4/21. Every single item she prepared was thoughtful and delicious. Everyone raved about our passed appetizers (caprese skewers, ribs, bacon wrapped tenderloin, and crabmeat canape), our dinner (beef bourgignon, cheddar chicken, smashed potatoes, asparagus), the rolls with unbelievably great butter, the salads, and last but not least, the DESSERTS! W-O-W! Everyone mentioned that our wedding cake (we had two layers- lemon curd cake and chocolate cake with berries) was the best they had ever had, and this was a tough crowd to please. Beyond great food, the service Ginger offers is IMPECCABLE. She arranged set up of the tent, rentals, etc. You will not find this service elsewhere. She does a tasting and then a full seated dinner ahead of the wedding to ensure every dish is perfect. She also decorates her buffet tables tastefully with decorations that match the wedding. The service of her employees was outstanding, we had a bartender, waiters, porters, etc. The wedding was in our backyard, but the service was better than what you'd find at a 5 star hotel. I used Chef Paul Catering for a high school graduation party with about 50 guests. The food was outstanding and the staff was incredible. if you're having an event and want to actually have time to enjoy your guests, give Ginger a call. you will not be disappointed.

Patricia was wonderful to work with! We didn't really know what kind of food we wanted to have at our wedding, but through a few tastings, we were able to find the right menu selections. The wedding day went perfectly, from food setup to cake cutting. Patricia was more than willing to work with us on any request, as we wanted to bring our own silverware, plates, cups, etc. The food was great, the tables looked great, the service was great, and the planning process was super easy. Communication was excellent, which was very important to me as my husband and I were doing all planning out of state. She was also very accommodating with our crazy schedule and only being in IL a few weeks during 2022 to do tastings. My husband and I were very happy, as were our guests! I appreciate all the work and attention to detail. Thank you!
