Mimo Thai Kitchen - Waterloo

We received confirmation of our online order through both text and email, but when we arrived to pick up our food, they had no record of it. After waiting an additional 20 minutes, we finally got our meal, but it was underwhelming in flavor and contained very little protein. We ordered pad thai with shrimp and drunken noodles with chicken. The pad thai was the worst my husband has ever tasted; it had an off-putting fish sauce flavor that was nothing like traditional pad thai. The drunken noodles resembled lasagna noodles without any sauce. Additionally, the restroom had a leak in the ceiling that dripped on us while we were using it. Overall, we were not impressed. Bangkok Cuisine in Kitchener is far superior.

I had the spring rolls, green curry, and house fried rice, and they were all fantastic. I was pleasantly surprised by the low prices, and the staff was extremely polite. I highly recommend this restaurant!

The food is decent, but their online ordering system is really frustrating. To indicate any substitutions, whether it's due to allergies or simply wanting tofu instead of chicken in a vegetarian dish, you have to check a box labeled "allergies." I've placed two online orders and both times, even after checking that box and specifying my needed substitutions, my requests were completely overlooked. The first time this happened, I called to address the issue, and they promised a refund, which I never received. I decided to give them another shot, but it happened again, so I've decided to stop ordering from Mimo altogether.

Placed an order on Monday afternoon for pickup. Pickup time was 30 minutes after I ordered around 12:40pm. Had to pre pay for my order online so I was charged before pickup. When I went to pickup my food the restaurant was closed (lights off, door locked, called a couple times and I even waited)In the end I payed for food I was unable to pickup.

Best green curry I've ever had ever! The dish was bright, bold, and packed with flavor. It had a good kick too!This place is excellent for folks with dietary restrictions. There are plenty of vegan and vegetarian options.
