East Quay Kitchen - Watchet

This is a fantastic and unique place to stay. I appreciate how environmentally friendly and sustainable everything is — that was a significant advantage for us. Located in the midst of artist studios, the whole atmosphere is definitely creative. If you're looking for a fun and distinctive stay with some character, this is the place for you. However, if you're seeking a more traditional experience, it might not be the best fit. Rooms: 5

East Quay is a vibrant arts hub featuring numerous small studios. It's quite an intriguing place, and the café offers excellent coffee and cake, all served by friendly and welcoming staff. Overall, I would rate the location a solid 4 out of 5.

**Rooms:** The kitchenette was a great convenience, and the bed was very comfortable. Everything was kept beautifully clean. **Nearby Activities:** There are two small museums and a steam railway station, all just a short walk away. I could even see them from my window, and I enjoyed learning about the rich history of this charming old town. **Safety:** I felt completely safe throughout my stay, thanks to the staff who made me feel confident and the absence of any issues. **Walkability:** The town is quite small, and the location of the complex is central, right by the harbor, making everything easily accessible on foot. **Food and Drinks:** The food was outstanding. **Noteworthy Details:** Art can be found everywhere, even in the furniture. The 'sofa' in my bedroom was creatively fashioned from an old bathtub! The studios are open, offering plenty of inspiration and sights to enjoy.

Visited this venue 8th October 2023. Beautiful day with many, many people around. Disappointing venue as the artists who had studios here had not bothered to attend and open up as the venue advertising claims. They are obviously not a 7 days a week destination for anyone interested in art. Just 1 artist in attendance working on her scuptures. The rest were conspicous by their absence. Shame. Took my money home with me! Service: 2
