Bidrage med feedbackI have always considered this restaurant to be a treat when working in Leamington, as I have frequented it many times over the years. However, my recent visit was disappointing. Despite giving it a second chance, the baguette I ordered was sparsely filled and the slice of bread pudding lacked fruit and sweetness. I now feel that the food is overpriced and underwhelming, and as a result, I will avoid this place in the future rather than look forward to visiting again. The service, however, was faultless as always.
I stopped by last week for a baguette and coffee, which was so tasty that I went back yesterday. The Chicken Tikka was delicious and the rock cake was so filling that I didn't need to eat for the rest of the day. The service was friendly and accompanied by a lovely smile.
I stopped in this morning and regretted it. The service was friendly and polite, but despite the big signs advertising hot breakfast rolls, mine was cold. I expected the items to be warm since they were kept on a hot plate, but they were sadly dry and not very good quality. There are plenty of other options in the area, and this being my first visit, it will also be my last.
Nicely set out cafe suitable for brunch or lunch. Enjoyed a full English; freshly made to order and tailored to my choices. Great toast too, makes a difference! Service with a smile.
Had a post-lockdown trip with friends booked in Leamington for the day. Chose to have lunch at Savi 's as it looks nice from the outside, however 'nice ' stopped after entering and it was down hill from there! Rightfully things have changed due to social distancing so we entered warily, and asked if we could get a table, the lady at the counter said we 'd need to sit seperate tables (there were four of us) we asked if we could sit on the table which had four chairs and she rudely said we could. Whilst we ordered our food (paninis and baguette), the woman seemed really uninterested and abrupt with us. When the food came out, it was really basic for the price charged. My flat white coffee came as an americano. There was some kind of wrapping in a panini, though it wasn 't worth the hastle to complain as we 'd already been told to be quiet when my friend laughed too loudly. We quickly ate and left as we felt unwelcome and just wanted to go. I 've worked in a restaurant for the past 5 years, and though I get this is a cafe, it is one of the worse experiences I 've had out. I wouldn 't dream of treating one of my customers like that.
