Manhattan Bagel - Warrington

I know COVID has been a problem for everyone, especially the food industry. But this place has been going downhill. My wife always grabs me an Asiago bagel when she's there, because she knows that's my favorite. The one I pulled out of the bag thismorning was a joke. It was clearly under-cooked. It was 2/3 it's normal size (being generous here) and it had 5 finger-sizedimpressions on the bottom side. Not sure if that was from not being baked enough, but it was pathetic enough to prompt thisreview. And it's not the first time. I would have been embarrassed to put this in a customer's bag. EDIT (5/5/22): I've revisedmy review from 2 to 4 stars. Last couple of trips have been a vast improvement. My original comments stand, because thingshappened that way. But improvement should be acknowledged.

Usually go to the Manhattan on Ferry Rd, which is consistently good. Stopped in the Warrington location and will not make that mistake again. Unclear and slow order process. Woman sitting at table was told they were out of her selection fifteen minutesafter ordering. I ordered a double toasted everything with cream cheese. What they delivered was completely untoasted, and theflavor of the bagel was odd. Never again.

Edit (5/5/22): I've changed my rating from 2 stars to 4 stars. My recent visits have demonstrated notable improvements. I am keeping my original comments since there were issues in the past, but I want to recognize the positive changes that have taken place.

The bagels are delightful, and the breakfast sandwiches are impressively inventive. There's truly nothing like the mix of speck, egg, and cheese on a fresh bagel, especially when enjoyed with a steaming cup of coffee.

I often visit this restaurant, but it really frustrates me that they turn off the grill 30 minutes before closing. It feels like the staff is unwilling to stay even a moment longer than needed to clean up at the end of the day. This lack of effort has led me to seek out bagels elsewhere.
