Cafe Elixir - Wanneroo

I had a large takeaway skim latte. When I took my first sip it had almost a salty, soy sauce aftertaste. It was weird. Could have just been the batch of beans but for $5 I was disappointed. It was a busy place and maybe they have good food but I won't be back for the coffee.

Good food every single time. This place is on point. I usually have special requests and they have never once made a mistake. Great service too, clearly run by a Victorian!

For my friend's non-baby shower we wanted to get to get her for brunch. A friend suggested Cafe Elixir and we were not disappointed. Our food came out in a timely manner, although the cafe was super busy, the staff were still attentive and polite. Our food was delicious, everyone shared bits with everyone. Food ✅✅✅✅ Service ✅✅✅✅

Think we caught them on a bad day - they did say that two chefs were off sick. Never got our drinks and the eggs in the bacon and egg sliders weren't cooked. Hardly any avo in my partner's smashed avo either.

We came here for dinner on a Saturday night with some friends after it was recommended to us. We ordered loaded fries, a few carbonaras and sliders. The fries were pretty good but the carbonara had almost equal onion to pasta. It was quite overpowering. The chicken sliders were bland and slightly undercooked. The service was fine but the ambiance was more like a cafe. We drove from south of the river but probably wouldn't come here again unless it was for breakfast and we were in the area.
