Always a great dining experience. Great down home cooking.

Oh WOW. The food in this historical Cafe is simply amazing. From the Calf Fries starter to the Chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken meals, we were very pleased. The portions are generous and prices reasonable. We met the sons of the fifth generation owners who were running the front and back of the house during our visit. The desserts are worthy of taking home with you, because you'll be full after dinner. We'll be back soon. Sadly they are closed Saturday and Sunday.

Had the chicken fried steak breakfast. It was great. The service is fast. The people are nice. Will be back. Just have fun we did.

Just go to it there's something for everyone all of the food is exquisite and cheap one of the best stops ever

Food just ok....chicken seemed overcooked and tough, gravy tasted like it was from a bag. Corn and green beans canned, salad was tiny portion of maybe a cup of lettuce. Rolls were decent but doubt homemade. Hamburger was fairly decent. Service...waited for a table, menus and drink order quick but waited quite a while for food when others who came in behind us received their orders first. Server never checked on us and then got an attitude when we asked for refills. Waited at least 10 minutes for check. Atmosphere....restaurant seemed old and dirty both inside and out. Check out the ceiling tiles. Bathroom was gross. CLANTONS IS NOT OPEN SATURDAYS UNLIKE HOURS POSTED
