Jardin Chow Mein - Ville Lambert

I tried getting delivery from this restaurant last night for the first time in 3 months and was extremely disappointed. I found hair in my food, there was oil in the bag of egg rolls, the vegetable fried rice only had raw mushrooms, the beef macaroni with mushrooms was undercooked and the beef was too tough to eat. The spare ribs with brown gravy were also very tough. When I called to complain, the owner was rude and said we should eat at the restaurant instead of getting delivery because they can't see the food properly. I will not be ordering from here again.

Honestly, I don't like to give one star but tonight it was too much. All the sauces (cherry and plum) tasted very vinegary and were warm. The sweet and sour chicken was soggy with grease. In my opinion, it was overcooked so that the breading could absorb so much grease. The meat in the macaroni was very questionable, with a disgusting taste. I couldn't even eat it. Overall, a bad experience all around.

The service is fast, but it is difficult to get a glance and a smile from the staff towards the customer. The food has no taste. The soup is diluted, the chicken fried rice tastes burnt and has no chicken. The price is very reasonable, but it is not worth it.

Very bad customer service. If I could put 0 stars I would. I tried to make an order for delivery, the lady on the phone kept on telling me that we can't add extra on the food (like ex: extra shirmps) and when she asked for my address, she told me that it was to far for them and immediately hang to phone on me without letting me the chance to speak. When I tried to call back, she just picked up the phone and immediately hang up again. And when my boyfriend tried to call them so that WE can go pick up the order instead, she did the exact same thing to him as well. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. If this is how they treat us on the phone, imagine in person. Very dissatisfied.
