Love love love this sandwich shop! We usually get the KBBQ and the Banh Mi, but the cheese steak and chicken pharm are also a hearty meal. Best feeling when you take these out for a picnic meal.
Greeted by an army of sandwich makers, The Sandwich Shop is a well oiled machine. The service was fast, friendly and efficient. I came because of the vegetarian options and opted for something I would never normally try: the broccolini and sun dried tomato sandwich. Sometimes this tactic pays off, other times it’s a bust. Regrettably this choice didn’t pay off. I won’t hold it against them too much. It was a risky choice; I guess I don’t like sundried tomatoes as much as I thought I did. The bread however was great, and the atmosphere perfect for a lunch. I’ll try again another day and update the review.
The vegetarian Bahn mi is incomparable. Absolutely amazing, fright fresh flavors and a crispy baguette. Worth the drive out from DC.
We love this place. Such good food and wide variety.
