Simply Greek - Venterstad

An authentic Greek experience! Tucked away in Stellenbosch but a treat when you come across it! This little restaurant has so much to offer. From the gorgeous interior which reminds me of a Greek tavern to the variety of tapas. The menu has something for everyone. The hostess is friendly and welcoming. The owners absolute gems. All kitchen staff have been thoroughly taught by the Greek family. <br/ <br/ My favorite items on the menu include: the fresh falafels, dolmadakia, spanakopita, shrimp saganaki, mousaka and chicken souvlaki. Though every time I come here there is something new to try which I fall in love with! <br/ <br/ All in all a fantastic restaurant which I urge everyone to try if you come to Stellenbosch!

Great food! Beers on tap, and a super selection of Greek meze. Plates of food for two or more to share. Grab a few pitas and a dip, and you have a fun meal to share. Makes for great take away too!

Went to simply Greek a few months ago on a date with my Girlfriend. Authentic, cosy little Greek restaurant with some decent food. Laid back Greek video. It took me back in time to the beautiful time that I spent in Athens back in 2010. An enjoyable evening!

Had a great dinner at this cozy, intimate restaurant. The food was great and the host is extremely attentive, helpful and passionate about his work. The only downside was that bathrooms are across the road, but on the other hand, the walk is a nice break between the delicious courses!

My hubby and I saw this place and wanted to try. The waitress Anell. Was so sweet and kind. Very polite to check up on us. Gosh I forgot my phone on the couch, she ran and found me to give to me. Such honest people! The food was tasty and abundant. Just a little thing of a bit too much salt on the lamb and the seasoning on the pita bread. Please order the platter for one. It's like for two people! I had to take home leftovers :
