Rome In A Bite - Venterstad

We went for a quick late lunch and was pleasantly surprised with the food we found here in the heart of Stellenbosch. You can see this is true Italian for the pizza was some of the best i have had in a long time. My wife had Ravioli Pasta and again you can see the flavouring was true Italian. The rest was also above average with fast service. The only not so nice was not so much Rome's fault was the Bistro across them had to much students and noisy. Enjoy when you get a chance

This modern italian restaurant is the perfect spot any day of the week for any type of occasion. The atmosphere is perfect, it feels like you are sitting in a cobblestone street in Italy, perfectly situated in the hustle and bustle of the foodie strip of Stellenbosch (Church Street). Both ladies that served us were attentive, quick and friendly. Our drinks were cold and our food was hot. Food was quick and everything was beautifully balanced and flavoursome! We had a margherita to start and then the rigattoni bolognese and spaghetti alfredo. Will definitely be back again soon.

Delightful authentic restaurant in the mid of Stellenbosch. Friendly staff and the owner is present. Pasta and pizza prices very reasonable.

A super venue. I ordered the Ravioli. Delicious food and fast service. A very good waitress served us. Excellent dinner out

Such a lovely atmosphere, only had the tris de bruschette but will definitely visit again for a nice meal.
