Ichiki Japanese and Thai - Vaughan

Went on a Monday... I came here before and no issues, but now the food and service have deteriorated significantly. It seems like the sushi was old from day before. Rice tasted horrible like they poured extra vinegar in it. Tempura bits also old, not crunchy.When told the waitress about it she immediately got defensive saying all was fresh and all was good. I asked her to try herself, but she didn't want to. She was just concerned about the bill and that we needed to pay because we had already ate some of it. I asked to speak to the Manager and she said she wasn't available but she would call me. I'm still waiting for the call lol... anyways there are plenty of great sushi places in Vaughan so save yourself the time and money and go elsewhere

Went for some all you can eat. Fish was fresh but the rice ball of the sushi was too big and warm. Service was quick though.

Had an awful time at this restaurant due to an impolite waitress. Her unprofessionalism was evident as she rushed us out close to closing time, even interrupting our dinner. A disappointing experience that left us feeling unwelcome and disrespected as paying customers. Not recommended, as the staff's attitude can ruin your meal and mood.

Stopped by this restaurant today. Wanted to dine in for Lunch. The restaurant has like 2 customers. No problem. A lady named “Senina” approached with an attitude when I ask about Lunch special. Her facial changed immediately and asked us to call quick because they will only serve lunch for “12 minutes”. I asked for manager and she said the manager is busy, has no time to talk to me. Well.. we will never return to this place again and no wonder why this restaurant only has 2 customers.

Pretty decent spot to grab some Japanese and Thai food! The staff were patient and willing to help you at any time. The food was good and came out fast so we didn’t have to wait too long. They have some unique items on the menu that other places don’t have. However, the reason why this place is not a 5/5 in my eyes is because the quality of some of the food is okay (not bad but not great) and I’ve definitely had better elsewhere (such as the Takoyaki). Overall, I had a good time here and will definitely come again soon.
