Amaro's Table Hazel Dell - Vancouver

I decided on a whim to try Amaro's Table in Hazel Dell for a late lunch with my adult sons. We hadn't looked at the menu ahead of time, and really didn't know what to expect. We ended up having not only the most delicious lunch in recent memory, but also some of the very best service. My sons both had the fried chicken meal, subbing out the coleslaw for mac cheese. I had the fried chicken sandwich with house chips. All three of us agreed that the food was absolutely top-notch, and that we would definitely be returning to Amaro's Table... and probably ordering the exact same things again. As good as the food was, I also feel the need to mention the outstanding service. From the moment we stepped inside, we felt very welcomed. Our server was absolutely wonderful, so friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The cherry on top of an already superb dining experience was when a complimentary dessert was brought to us just to thank us for coming in and giving Amaro's Table a try. I probably would not have tried the ricotta donuts otherwise, but now that I have sampled that little bit of heaven on earth I will certainly order them again. I should probably temper my rave so as not to make Amaro's Table so busy that we can't get a table next time, but I just have to give them the rave that they deserve.

Friday clam chowder was unique and delicious. Ice tea was also delicious. Cheeseburger was salty and refused to stay together meat slid out of bun at first bite and had to set aside the bun and eat the meat, tomato with a fork. Fries were skimpy. Probably won't go back.
