Keegan Kafe - Van Buren

Keegan Kafe Keeps You Coming Back. It’s a delightful find in northern Maine. It seems to have relocated since the first review, as the interior is now very inviting. Situated next to the old church in Keegan, the atmosphere is charming. The service is friendly, prompt, and attentive. Our group of three enjoyed breakfast, with two of us opting for omelets that were simply perfect. I had a western omelet filled with generous chunks of diced ham, and the eggs were light and fluffy. I chose to pay extra for the homemade toast, which was well worth it—larger and thicker than the standard sandwich slices that typically accompany the entrée, and they were grilled instead of just toasted. My wife's eggs, cooked to order, were also excellent. The bacon is available in three styles, and my wife's crispy bacon was just right—perfectly cooked without being burnt. All of this was accompanied by delicious coffee with unlimited refills. The home fries were very good too, featuring some grilled onions. Overall, it was a delightful experience.

A Hidden Gem. The Gagnon family truly cares about making their customers happy, and they succeed! The food is excellent, reasonably priced, and served in a warm Acadian atmosphere.

The lobster sandwiches and roast beef dinner are outstanding!
