Frank Helen's Pizzeria

I tried the chicken, and it wasn't my favorite, but I'll come back to explore other dishes on the menu.

The pizza crust leaves much to be desired and really detracts from the overall experience. However, the toppings, cheese, and sauce are fantastic. If they could produce a doughier New York-style crust instead of the flaky cornmeal variety, this could easily be one of the best pizzas in St. Louis.

This pizzeria has been a neighborhood staple for a long time. I just found out that it's closing for good, so there’s really no point in writing a review at this stage.

Nice place to hang out with friends, good food, friendly staff!

Would have been a great time if not for the 14 year old owner's son consistently heckling us. The food was pretty good, the server was sweet, but the 14 year old wouldn't leave us alone and wouldn't get the hint that insulting the guests was not the right move. Would not dine in again.
