The Village Pantry - Tyrone

We live nearby and often visit VP. I love the unique items that you can't find elsewhere, such as raw sugar, their own brownie and cookie mixes, and very affordable spices. The deli meats are better priced than at other places. The hot bar and salad bar are great additions, making it a convenient spot for both groceries and dining. You can choose to eat in the dining room or take your meal to go. At the deli, we appreciate the option to order made-to-order hot sandwiches. They also serve ice cream and milkshakes with generous portions! I’m a big fan of their wide selection of packaged nuts, chocolates, snacks, and more. There's also a section for specialty homemade canned goods. The store truly has a lot to offer—many visitors come to Tyrone just to experience it. The staff is always super friendly, and during off-hours, many of them engage in kind acts for members of the community, especially the elderly. The only downside is that some grocery items can be quite pricey, which is understandable for a small store, and occasionally, the produce isn't as fresh. However, the benefits far outweigh these drawbacks. Consider their catering services or the rental of the event room above the store; they offer a lot to the community!

The food is fresh and tasty. You'll find everything you need at the grocery store, and the prices are reasonable.

This is definitely one of my favorite places to eat! A friend recommended this spot to us years ago, and now we find ourselves coming here at least three to four times a month. They offer a wide selection of hot dishes and a salad bar packed with choices, from fresh salads to delicious desserts—when I say everything, I truly mean it! Everything is absolutely delicious! The hot food always comes out fresh, and their chicken tenders are simply the best! I can’t say enough about this little hidden gem of a café. I have too many favorites to list, so just go there and see for yourself all the amazing food they serve! Plus, they also have a variety of ice cream desserts that you won’t want to miss.

Love Village Pantry. Their hot bar is always great, Panini sandwiches are incredible, and they carry a wide variety of groceries and bulk items, weighed items.
