Kembuz Cafe - Turku

Kind service, lost of Vegan-friendly option and quality coffee and cakes. Will definitely visit again

This was my secoind visit to Kembuz Cafe and I was not disappoointed. I had the Greek salad and I have never eaten one with so much feta cheese. The salad was a Kembuz interpretation of Greek salad, but a very good one. Do visit this Cafe: it is small and the menu is not huge,but you can rely on having a great tatsy slad which will keep your hunger away for several hours without having the feeling to be stuffed. A big plus also : a very roomy and clean toilert.

This was my first visit (though I’ve often walked by and admired their friendly notice boards) and I was very impressed. The cafe is warm and cozy, with comfy tables near the windows and plenty of light, and the barista both friendly and efficient! My cappuccino was superb ... strong enough and beautifully presented, but my friend’s Matcha was a work of art! We didn’t eat this time but I couldn’t help but notice that the lady on the table next to us had the most amazing looking chicken salad for lunch. My mouth was watering ...

The cafe is small but charming. They offer mostly raw food, vegan and gluten free. I had a raw rasberry cake which was really good, but unfortunately the size of the cake was tiny and the prize very big. I will probably go again occasionally with a gluten free friend, but with these prices I can't afford to become a regular.

Simply love this place. They've done everything right from the very beginning with a wonderful atmosphere and happy service attitude always smiling, beautiful, relaxed and stylish interior design, and the food and pastries taste absolutely delicious. Visited the place several times and I've tried several of the coffees, fresh juice and smoothie, salads, some pastries and everything tastes great! Especially recommend the lunch salads which are tasty and very filling. This has easily become my favorite Café in Turku. Big thanks to the lovely couple doing a great job running it!
