The Gourmet At Kenilworth - Towson

The menu selections are varied, you are bound to find something you like. I've enjoyed everything that I have tried from the appetizers, wings, mussels, crab dip, calamari, all good! The salmon and rainbow trout are my favorites.

I have severe allergies to raw tuna but when I saw sushi on the menu my mouth was watering. I haven't been able to eat sushi since 2006!! When I asked if there was “any way” they could accommodate me (no cross contamination) they said “no problem “. I had 2 rolls that were DEVINE!!! And I had no reaction. ??? I can't wait to go back.

The food was great but the service didn't match it. Our waiter was inexperienced, he placed our appetizer order but waited until we were finished to place our main course order which we discovered when he decided to ask us how we wanted the tuna cooked. Not only was the course late but the dish came out severely undercooked so we sent it back to the kitchen. When it came back out the tuna was perfect and the shrimp fried rice and stir fried veggies were delicious.

Several service issues. Not attentive in general. Had to get our own ketchup and water. Biggest issue: Ordered strawberry salad with tuna bites. Tuna bites were charred and well done when ordered medium. Salad was soaked in dressing. Sent it back. After 15-20 minutes the other three in our party finished and no salad. We cancelled the dinner. We were asked if we wanted it boxed to go. Service at Frederick road location far superior. This location needs a lot more time.

Great restaurant! Food is always fresh and delicious. Love the bread and the house salad. Always get the sun dried tomato dressing, so yummy. The halibut St Martin is my favorite entree and my husband loves the burger. The tiramisu is one of the best around. Server was friendly and efficient.
