Bidrage med feedbackThe drive-thru experience was ridiculous. They only take and complete one order at a time, and it left me wondering why. I initially thought there was a problem on that particular day, but after reading other reviews, it seems this is their usual way of operating. To top it off, the food was cold. How does that happen? Honestly, I have a hard time believing that these jobs deserve a livable wage when the service is so poor. The employees seem unable to handle more than one order at a time, and I question the value provided for the $7.00/hr pay rate.
I typically don't write negative reviews because I value the hard work of others. However, my recent experience at this restaurant was disappointing due to terrible service and a rude attitude. While using the drive-thru, I received my to-go order but was not provided with any utensils, napkins, or straws. After taking a few minutes to check my order, I knocked on the window to request these items and was met with a dismissive attitude. The employee complained that I had been in the drive-thru for seven minutes and that I was holding up the line. This experience has placed this restaurant on my "never again" list.
All I can say is, the birria at EPL is incredible! No one seems to believe me, but I'm so glad to have this place in the South Bay. The staff was extremely friendly, and even with the challenges of short staffing during these COVID times, I was very grateful for their service. Just be patient; it's absolutely worth it!
The service was quite disappointing. I visited the drive-thru and requested a lot of salsa, but they only handed me one. When I politely asked for more, the woman coldly gave me another single packet and then abruptly said "goodnight" before closing the window in my face. I’m not sure if this is typical for every Pollo Loco, but I've found them to be rude whenever I’ve asked for extra condiments. This experience really makes me dislike going to Pollo Loco.
The chicken stall seems to run out of chicken frequently. On my last visit, only chicken breast was available, and I was informed that the legs and thighs would take another 30 minutes to prepare. This has happened to me twice now within the past month. Date: 5/24/22, time: 8:43.
