Caffe Nero - Tonbridge and Malling

The seating area is dirty and filthy. The toilets are a disgrace. The staff are completely useless and can't even make a coffee correctly. This is the worst Cafe Nero I have ever been to and should be shut down.

Disappointing, I used to like Café Nero, but it has changed, not only in Tonbridge but also elsewhere. In the past they had friendly and attentive staff, mostly from European countries most of them have left since the Brexit referendum. There are still a few...nice people working there, but some of those who replaced them make you not feel welcome, and they serve you as if they would do you a big favour. Clean tables have always been a problem, but now even more. Most of the time there is rubbish from previous guests on the table, and even after you sat down with your café it would take a while until the table is cleared and cleaned. Drinks are now served in paper cups, which make an average tasting café tasting even worse. Pastries’ are OK but the rest of the food and cakes are below average. Overpriced for what it is.

Living locally, I'll usually pop in on a Sunday afternoon for a coffee and a catch up on some paper work. Always a busy store, but the staff are great. The tables ARE clear and clean! (unlike some other chain coffee stores) Good value, being...around for a large coffee. Comfortable seating and a nice atmosphere. (I am yet to try the sweet treats!

I have been starting my working day with a coffee at Nero in Tonbridge High Street for several years. Great coffee and the staff have always been great. Those that have moved on always say hello when I bump into them. I’m a happy customer.

I really like the coffee in Caffè Nero but most times I go into the Tonbridge cafe I’m given a dirty spoon and today I had to return the second spoon they gave me because this was also dirty. They did not say sorry or...we will look into this! They just looked at me! CLEAN YOUR DISHWASHER! Also the toilets really need updating and also look shabby. Will be changing my choice of coffee shop sadly.
