Bombay Tandoori, Tønsberg, Norway

I had dinner for one at Bombay Tandori. The restaurant is located towards the main street with a small terrace on the side where the main entrance is. If you chose a table on the terrace, you can see the harbor. The service was exceptionally friendly and the choice of food is, typical Indian, large. Next to vegetarian dishes, a variety of lamb, chicken, fish and dishes with shrimp are offered. I had the “Chef’s choice – grill plate” with rice and garlic naan – absolutely delicious. Spiciness is offered on a scale from 1 (mild) to 7 (hot, vindaloo). I like spicy food and selected “5”. The result was a lot of taste without hurting tongue or mouth. The restaurant is clearly a recommendation.

Tried this place for the first time with take away. Ordered a lamb dish which absolutely delivered. Lots of sauce and the meat was as buttery soft as you can expect. Every bite melted in the mouth. Lots of airy rice and a large nan bread ensure that you are full for the rest of the evening. Service: Take out
