Upon entering The Cannon, I was greeted with a great vibe. The coffee was quite good—had nice flavor without being burnt. I ordered the California sandwich, which came with avocado, bacon, tomato, and ground pepper on a waffle. They provide three sauces: garlic jalapeño, sweet pear chili, and big smoke chipotle. The sweet pear chili was a fantastic addition to the sandwich—simple yet delicious. Including tax, my total came to around $18, which I definitely think is worth it. There's also a gentleman who ensures the tables and area are kept clean; he's got great hustle. This place definitely has a hipster feel, but I still enjoyed my meal—and I’d come back again!

I had an excellent experience at this restaurant with their gluten-friendly options. I opted for the California Waffle for brunch, and it was fantastic! It came topped with a generous serving of freshly made guacamole, two thick slices of local bacon, diced tomatoes, and two perfectly poached eggs. This is definitely a place I'll return to time and again. The atmosphere was cozy and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Cheers!

I love the Cannon, I wish I lived closer, because I would live there if I could. All the staff are wonderful, the food is delicious, and the coffee and tea selection are both broad and fantastic. I couldn't recommend this place enough. If you haven't been, you're missing out.

We were in town for the weekend and came for breakfast! Love the ambiance with the eclectic vibe. I had the bacon waffles and my husband had the 'merica as a vegan dish (no goat cheese) with the brew coffee. When I come to Hamilton I will be back!
