Jack in the Box - Temple

I attempted to use the drive-thru at 2am on my way home from work, as Google indicated that it was open 24/7. However, the staff member at the window informed me that they were closed.

We were the only people at the drive-thru and were asked to move forward and wait. The food tasted old, reheated, and cold, not to mention the portions were much smaller and more expensive. Unless it's the only option available, we will not be returning. Food: 1/5.

It takes longer for this trip to prepare thru to Tacos than a restaurant to prepare a steak menu and you are lucky if you get what you have actually ordered...we certainly have not. Food: 3/5

It was good. People were super nice. They were out of onion rings for the meal we ordered.Food: 3/5

We have had bad experiences with Jack in the box in the past ranging anywhere from the food not living up to expectations,(we have easy low expectations), to not getting the order right anytime we chose them as our destination for food. We decided to give them another chance this night and they did much better than previous experiences. The service was a little slow for fast food drive through, but we are patient and the lady st the window did apologize for this and was super sweet. Shout out to her. The food order was done correctly this time, no complaints or mistakes there. The food taste was good and satisfying, with one exception that we could.overlook but wanted to mention. The toasted bread that comes on a sourdough burger should be toasted, my wife's was hardly toasted at all. Although she ate it, it was not the same satisfaction that comes with that crisp toasted bun feeling you get with a real good toasted sourdough jack experience. Other than that the order was right and we were happy with it. I'll be giving Jack in the box another try in the future so long as they continue to keep improving on the important things as getting the orders right and the food taste decent.
