The owner was extremely friendly. I stopped by hoping to have haddock, but it turns out that the fish is only available on Wednesdays. I'll definitely return!
We visit every Sunday for fresh buns, peppers, and cheese.
Exceptional authentic Portuguese cuisine. Fresh bread and cheese are highlights. A must-visit!
This restaurant is an absolute gem for those seeking authentic Portuguese cuisine. On certain days of the week, they even offer a buffet! I was particularly impressed by the fish and chips; the fish was incredibly crunchy and delicious, and I can't wait to explore more dishes on my next visit. They also serve genuine malasadas—not the disappointing fried dough you find at fairs—and their sweetbreads are available warm starting at 7:30 a.m.—just fantastic! Unfortunately, they won't have malasadas available on Easter Sunday. My only regret is that they haven't published a Portuguese cookbook yet; I hope they'll consider it in the future. As a side note, make sure to use 20 Harrison Avenue, not Harrison Street when you go!
