Cody's Original Roadhouse Tarpon Springs

This was our second time eating at Cody’s and enjoyed as much as the first. Service was great (got what we needed with no problem).

My family came to eat here after it was recommended to us by our hotel down the street. It did not disappoint. The food was very good. They have the best country fried streak I have ever had also the largest.

I ordered the seafood trio and all I tasted was pure salt. Awful Dietary restrictions: Don't eat here if you have blood pressure issues. Way too much salt.

On Sunday August 11th at 2:40 we stopped in the Tarpon Cody's. We have been fairly regular since 2010 They obviously have a management problem now. Server was overwhelmed and we didn't even talk to her for 15 minutes. No one came to the table. Not even the manager Sandra. Finally got our app and drink order in. Appetizer showed up before the draft beer. We saw the beers sitting for another 15 minutes .. it just went downhill from there. Salad didnt show up until we had to ask about it. Prime rib was 3 inches wide by 3 inches thick. Was obviously the end of the cut. BRUTAL. The other food was fine. It's now 413 and I am waiting on my check. 1 1/2 hours and the place is 25% occupied at best.

This is the The Good, the Bad and the Ugly of eating at Cody's in Tarpon Springs on August 12, 2024. I have been a long time Cody's patron since 2006. I went there for a celebration. The Good was the waitress was very nice. The Bad was the steak that was undoubtedly the worst steak I have ever had in my life. The steak was extremely hard to cut and even harder to chew. The Ugly was the appearance of the steak that was not flat but more round. My friend had the same steak and it was the same hard to cut hard to chew, no taste, and dry. I took it home and gave it to the dog who will eat anything Good, Bad, or Ugly. What a waste of money!!
