Thai Tarni - Taree

I always evaluate Thai restaurants based on their massaman beef, as nothing is worse than getting a tough, dry cut of beef or a curry that is either watery or lacking in flavor. However, this place truly blew me away! I was shocked to find such an incredible dish in a small town like Taree. It's probably the best massaman beef I've had, even compared to restaurants in Sydney and Melbourne! The beef was slow-cooked, tender, and practically melted in my mouth, all while being packed with rich flavor. And it's so affordable! I will definitely be making this a regular stop whenever I'm in the area!

This charming little diner offers a peaceful atmosphere and great food at affordable prices, which earns my approval! The satay chicken skewers were slightly dry and a bit chewy, but still enjoyable. The massaman curry beef, on the other hand, was excellent. The beef was tender from slow cooking, and the flavor of the massaman curry was delightful, with the added crunch of peanuts on top being a lovely touch. The portion of jasmine rice was generous as well. Overall, a very good dining experience!

The food is excellent, the prices are reasonable, and the service is friendly.
