Art House Cafe - Tacoma

I've never abandoned a ate this full of food before but this time at the art House was really awful. The potatoes were old and rubbery, flavorless and unsalted, which was very surprising. The omelet of the day has a Parmesean cream sauce that engulfed the plate in an unwelcoming fashion. It was ok, but not the star that its flooding of my plate might suggest. The ham in the omelet was overly sweet and the overall flavors of the omelet were just not working. Our first visit was good, but this left me dumbfounded.

Who doesn’t love delicious breakfast food and a Taylor Swift playlist? Excellent service the staff was friendly, efficient, and accurate. The menu has so many options on it that sounded good, it was hard to choose one. Portion size is excellent. Will definitely be back

The food was delicious, unique, and plated very nicely. They make a delicious **** mary as well. There was a very long wait for a table, an hour and a half! And it was done waiting outside in the cold. Keep that in mind

Start with a greeting from a gregarious and skilled server, Lex, and then follow it up with spectacular food a wonderful experience. The Art House Cafe is that kind of place you go to and spend 20 minutes with the menu because everything sounds good and looks better as the choices good to neighboring tables. The French toast was mounding and tasty with slabs of bacon. We liked the biscuits and the beecher and Italian eggs Benedict. I have to get back there to enjoy some of the other goodies going to other tables. Thank you, Lex!

We came in on Easter morning and had a little wait before being seated at the bar near the kitchen. Best seats in the house for us. Incredible service, the best lattes ever Hazelnut Cinnamon Roll) and big portions of good food. Very much somewhere we would travel back to Tacoma from Portland
