Bistro49 Southern Bites, Sutter Creek

I would really like to rate the experience they claim to provide, but after making a reservation and receiving a confirmation, I drove an hour to get there only to find the restaurant closed. Wow. Who is in charge here? I've sent an email and it's been three days with no response. I see that they are temporarily closed, but if you want to earn five stars, you need to ensure that your brand meets expectations that go beyond just the food, especially when it comes to customer service. This is basic business management, people. They don't even have a personalized voicemail system. At this point, I won't be giving them another chance.

DELICIOUS FOOD IN SUTTER CREEK. I will definitely return. The sandwiches and salads were outstanding. The staff is courteous and friendly. The atmosphere in the heart of Sutter Creek is charming.

We visited this restaurant for a belated 25th anniversary lunch, just making it before closing time. Although we were hesitant to inquire if they were still serving, we were greeted with a warm welcome! The food was delightful and incredibly fresh, and the wine was excellent as well. We can’t wait to return and try the dinner menu!

The salmon and chicken were both delicious. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was very relaxing. I dined in for dinner, and the price per person was around $30–50.

The fries were pretty bland, and the burger was nothing special—it really needed more seasoning. However, my dining companion said the Cobb salad was tasty. Overall, the service was satisfactory. We went for lunch, and the cost per person was around $20 to $30.
