Buddha's Surf Resort

In my opinion this is the coolest place to stay in all of Siargao. Whether you are a beginner in need of surf lessons or a seasoned surfer looking to ride big waves this is the perfect spot for you to call home base for your surf trip. The vibe at Buddha Surf Resort is super chill and they have everything you need equipment wise including yoga classes. Ashley has done a fantastic job with the layout of his resort and the customer service of his staff is that of western standards. Stay at the Buddha for your next trip to Siargao and you will me more than stoked.

We came there to eat a good breakfast because we just arrived in the island.. good food.. very nice staff and they got a cool dog.. will probably be back..

Buddha has such a warm and welcoming feel to it. Go out of your way (which I doubt you will have to) to meet the owner, Ashley, he is an incredible guy who will go above and beyond for you. The staff are so friendly and you are greeted with massive smiles every morning. Also go to Sugba Lagoon and island hopping if you have time, both are so stunning. We were meant to stay for a week and ended up missing out the north to stay 3 weeks here so think that says enough.

If there were more stars, I would give them. We have traveled to many countries and islands and this is the first one I can honestly say that has resonated with us. It was an incredibly humbling, beautiful, restful, adventurous, peaceful yet exciting experience. The management were always there to answer questions, very helpful, patient, and accommodating. Everyone there down to the surf instructors were just awesome people. It was the most chilled place we've been it, authentic and nothing superficial. Food was so so good. We will definitely be back hopefully for a much longer time. We miss you all, Mattiece misses Reeve especially. Thanks Chris for making our time there spectacular. xoxo JO
