Near Far No 97 - Surbiton

The food was excellent, and the service matched it perfectly. We stayed on schedule without being overly pushy.

A great little atmospheric spot under the main restaurant, serving pizza from the place next door which was a perfect accompaniment to a bottle of Gavi. David the ops manager is an asset to the place. Nice and dim lighting, good drinks selection, good music. We received aperitifs on arrival and some nibbles. Will be returning soon!

Our waitress was really warm and welcoming. she was informatiw about delays. the environment was beautiful and perfect met with friends. the cocktails were excellent.

The option to dine at high tables is great, but the ambiance is quite dark and the music is loud, making it less than ideal for dinner; it might be better suited as a bar. On the positive side, the staff was very friendly while we enjoyed our food and drinks.

Did not eat here as we booked the Gin bar, which doesn't exist anymore! Pictures are deceptive on website. Not at all what we expected. Very bijou and loud. Felt uncomfortable. Left after one drink. Shame
