A Slice Of New York - Sunnyvale

This is one of my favorite local spots. Luckily, it’s not within walking distance, or I’d probably visit too often. However, it’s close enough that I still make it here a few times each month.

In this area, the New York-style pizza slices are excellent. I highly recommend ordering a margherita slice with pepperoni—it’s simply the best. My child really enjoys the mushroom slice as well. Having lived in New York for many years, this has become our go-to spot for satisfying our pizza cravings. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking authentic NY pizza. A suggestion for management: a truffle mushroom pizza would be a fantastic addition to the menu!

The plain cheese pizza is fantastic! It's surprisingly similar to what you’d find in New York City, complete with the classic NYC fold that no one in California seems to manage. However, the Margherita pizza was a letdown—it was missing mozzarella and had slices of garlic instead. A true Margherita pie should have just three ingredients: tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil, representing the colors of the Italian flag (il Tricolore). You can't take away an essential ingredient and still call it a Margherita, nor should you add garlic! I almost considered giving this place a lower rating because of this blatant disregard for East Coast Italian-American tradition, but the staff was so kind to our children that I decided to give an extra star.

Great NY style pizza! I ordered the big pizza and got 4 meals out of it. Definitely good value!

Good stuff but it's only open 3 days a week the sj location has better hours but is obviously further away.
