Five Eleven West - Summerside

The vegetables at this restaurant are incredibly fresh and delicious. The staff are attentive and were especially grateful to Angela and Michaela for making our evening special.

The food was fantastic, as always, and the children also enjoyed it!

The sports complex is the last place we would have expected a nice restaurant, but it's certainly worth trying. Chowder was as good as any we've had on the island, and the lobster roll was the best so far. The roll came with our choice of fries or a salad, and the salad was very tasty. As others have noted, there was only one waitperson on duty, but she kept up well, and in fact we were served very timely.

We were here recently for dinner. The restaurant appear to have very little staff, and we saw one lady running around by herself trying to attend to multiple tables. We decided based on what the menu offered to order fried food . Not our most favourite food, but based on how busy it was probably the fastest and easiest. The lady who turned out to be the only serving staff there that evening! She was very friendly and apologetic for the wait and did the best she could. The food however, was greasy and not very tasty. This is not a place we would recommend going for dinner, despite the fact that the service was friendly and as fast as it could be under the circumstances.

We have been to this restaurant twice before and had no complaints(.both times we ordered the fish and chips.) Went in on Thursday past and we both ordered the fish and chips. (2 pieces) when it came I moved one of the pieces to my side plate as they were large and sitting on the "fries". Well for a moment I did not know what these "fries" were. They were black and shriveled up and far from crispy! I have never been served F/C where the fry was not regular fries. Sweet potato fries were what they turned out to be. I do not care for sweet potato fries. Have never just been given sweet potato fries if they were not ordered at any restaurant. Will be cancellling this place of my to go to list in the future.
