The Ferryboat - Suffolk Coastal

The personal is a big problem, not so friendly or welcoming, eating is not the same, not so beautiful, not sure why, but really not as it was earlier

On Monday in the mai for a pub lunch with friends. looked outside. friendly staff. had fish and chips. very satisfactory. we had the “smaller” and they were sufficient for each under £10. worth a visit.

Very impromptu visit so we had not booked. they managed to find a table for us, and as soon as the kitchens opened, they got our orders. the food was absolutely delicious and can not be mistaken wide palette on the menu and a...very extensive and varied special menu with classic aswell as something else. we had 3 courses per (2 people) and a few drinks per just £100 so cheap prices too. Unfortunately, the tasty eating was left a little of what sound like a private function in the back room. this would have been in order if it wasn't for all children from this function to knock the corridor up and down and scream so loud, I could not hear a word that my partner said and left with a headache. not sure if this is the norm, but feel that the staff of the family would have mentioned that the corridor is not a game room, especially since the toilet is directly from this corridor. I've got an injury to my foot and was almost beaten by children. in any case at the parents and not at the place, but insecure when this is the norm for there. chairs quite uncomfy and tables very low, but honestly, eating and service outshone everything. would definitely return.

I brought my father out to the 90th birthday in the ferryboat inn. we found an outside table and ordered 2 portions of fish and chips and a bowl chips for my veggie woman, as there were no other options then. eating was good, but not worth the £37 bill

We decided to take a trip to Felixstowe this morning, even though it was raining. We walked past the golf course and seeing the Ferryboat was open we managed to get a table. On seeing the menu we decided to have lunch. The experience was...very good. My wife loves a Sunday roast and the beef she ordered was well cooked and presented. I had smoked haddock and mash, the portion size was very generous and I finished the lot. The staff were so friendly and are a credit.
