Whit's Frozen Custard Of Stuart

A few weeks ago, my family and I went out for ice cream and we were thrilled because our daughter is lactose intolerant and it is difficult to find a good place for her to enjoy ice cream. Unfortunately, our experience was terrible. We ordered a whole pint of ice cream because that is the only option available. When my daughter wanted to add sprinkles and other toppings to her ice cream, we were told that they could not do it and just handed us the pint without scooping it into a cup or cone for her to enjoy, like every other child who goes out for ice cream. Additionally, the staff was extremely rude and rushed us out, ignoring our concerns. If this had only happened to me, I would not have bothered writing this review, but my daughter was very upset because she could not get the ice cream toppings she wanted.

The frozen custard is excellent, although it is a bit pricey. It's a great option for an occasional indulgence.

Best ice cream/custard around. Moved from Jax (where they had other locations) and was happy to find one here! Great for custom bday cakes and the s'mores whittie is probably the best ice cream related thing you can eat.

Last week I brought my 4 year old son here for ice cream. He asked for a kid?s scoop, half chocolate and half vanilla. They told me they couldn?t do half and half on the kid?s scoop but they could on the next size up, which was also just one scoop but larger, and of course more expensive. My son is small and I knew he couldn?t eat that much. I kindly asked again if they could do half chocolate and half vanilla on the kids scoop and they said no. I then asked why they could do it on the next size up but they could not give me any kind of decent response, it was just the way it was. I decided to walk out and go somewhere else that could accommodate my very simple request. I had been there at least a dozen times before but I will never return. Disappointing customer service to say the least. In response to the owner?s response. You said I had been to your location a few times. I have been at least a dozen times to the Stuart location as I mentioned in my post and many other times at other Whit?s locations. I have bought multiple pints of your ice cream for family parties and when we have had visitors in town. I have spent hundreds of dollars at Whit?s. I have also tipped very well on every single purchase. I see that your customer loyalty is on par with your customer service. By the way, if you need someone to come and show you how to put a little chocolate and a little vanilla into a cup, I will gladly give a free seminar. I just need a cup, ice cream, and something to scoop it with.
