Main Street Bakehouse - Stouffville

I went in for a decaf coffee to take out... nope don't have it? Then went back to get some baking for the family of which one member is gluten free - they offered a very small selection on both fronts. I have not returned.

Great atmosphere with friendly helpful staff. All the coffee options both regular and specialty. A good selection of treats and they even had a few gluten free options. They had 2 choices of sandwiches for lunch. Nice seating areas.

I totally recommend a visit there. I had their latte and everything muffin and both were yummy. I understand they actually roast their own coffee.....so good

This place has been on my list of local places to try for a few months now and I stopped in on my day off.It was a hot day out and I was grateful for the generous a/c inside. I was initially a little disappointed by the lack of iced drinks on the menu, but the three people in front of me ordered iced coffee so I knew it must be pretty good.It isn't pretty good, it's amazing!! A nice, full-bodied brew that held its own against the caramel flavour and cream I added. It is one of the best iced coffees I have ever tried (and I drink a lot of iced coffee).I was torn with what to pair with my drink with a display case full of goodies all calling my name. I narrowed it down to the scone category and then wrestled with the choice between lemon cranberry and coffee maple. I opted for lemon cranberry and it was delicious! The perfect size to fill you up, without having to count it as a meal :)The scone was buttery and light and the lemon gave it an amazing brightness. The occasional bite of cranberry provided a great tart surprise that helped to cut through the richness of the scone.Oh, and besides the food? The decor is great! Very rustic, yet refined in all of its hipster glory. The music volume was perfect, a great background that doesn't distract from conversations or the paper that you are writing on your laptop.I would love to see some great blended drinks on their menu for summer, an iced mocha or something of the like, but other than that it was a high-quality experience with a chill vibe. You should visit, just sayin'.

Such a lovely spot on Main Street. The atmosphere is relaxed. The baked goods are delicious (try the chocolate muffin) and the coffee and lattes are wonderful! I will definitely come back here again soon.
