Edo Japan Sunrise Village Plaza Grill And Sushi

My son picked up two bubble teas that we ordered through an app. When he got home, one of them had leaked all over the bag. I called Edo, and my son returned to the store to address the issue. When he arrived, an Asian girl at the counter told him to be careful when poking the straw. It seems she wasn't aware that we usually get our bubble teas at Coco in Edmonton, which has much better service. Trying Edo's bubble teas was a mistake. My son couldn't poke the straws in because he was riding his bike, and both paper straws ended up soaked in the unsealed bag. This was our first and last time ordering bubble teas from this location! Coco in Edmonton is definitely the best place, especially with their friendly service towards young kids picking up orders!

As we arrived near closing time, we were fortunate enough to find something enjoyable to eat. The grill staff did an excellent job, and one particular team member appeared to be overseeing the quality, which was impressive. Her attention to detail truly enhanced our experience, making it worthwhile; otherwise, it might have been a disappointing visit.

We’re all aware that inflation has led to rising prices everywhere, but when I order teriyaki chicken, I expect a decent portion of chicken. Instead, I received a tiny amount of chicken, very few vegetables, and mostly rice—all for $12. Let's be honest, that’s outrageous. It seems like greed is everywhere these days. On a positive note, the staff was friendly, and the restaurant was clean.

Love Edo. But tonight was thoroughly disappointed with the meals. Ordered two meals and the meat portions put together would be great for one meal. I basically paid $30 plus tip for rice
