Bidrage med feedbackThis was my second visit for Sunday brunch. To be honest, both times the restaurant was only half full, which is usually a bad sign. The service was decent; since it's a buffet, you serve yourself, but the waitress checked on me three or four times, which was nice. Just a heads up, coffee, iced tea, or any other drinks are not included in the buffet price of $14.95 plus tax per adult. For a buffet, that’s not a bad price. What I enjoyed: the pozole, although it was a bit watery and had a lot of corn, had excellent flavor. They only provide small cups for it, no bowls, so if you're lucky, you might get four pieces of meat in your tiny cup! If you love pozole, you’ll probably want two cups, and make sure to avoid getting just corn with no meat. There were no diced onions or peppers to accompany it, nor any oregano. The Chile Relleno was very good, although they only offer the cheese variety, not the ground beef. The chicken mole was tasty as well, though the chicken pieces were small and bone-in, but the mole sauce was flavorful. The refried beans were good too. The potatoes with chorizo were nice but served cold, which was disappointing. The rice pudding was just okay. The red salsa and green salsa pico de gallo were tasty, and the garden salad was good, though I didn’t see any salad dressing. On the downside, the egg dishes were cold, just like some of the other dishes I tried during my previous visit. The bacon was chewy, the carnitas lacked flavor and were also chewy, and the barbacoa didn’t stand out. The tortillas were cold; it would be much better if the waitress brought them to your table in a warmer so they would be hot when you make tacos. The Mexican rice was lacking in flavor. I didn’t try everything they offered, and honestly, I’m not sure if I’ll come back for brunch again.
We had a wonderful experience, relishing the delicious food and drinks. The service was outstanding.
