La Promesa - Sterling

The pupusas were delicious and highly recommended. However, I would suggest skipping the nachos as they use canned cheese. The horchata tasted authentic, as if it were made with real milk instead of rice milk. Overall, I probably won't return to this restaurant, but I wanted to give a fair review praising the pupusas and cautioning about the nachos.

We went to this restaurant for breakfast on a weekday. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We ordered papusas and a veggie omelette, which were both excellent. The restaurant wasn't very crowded and the service was very good. There was plenty of space and parking at this location. We will definitely be returning with our kids on another weekday.

The pupusas were delicious, but I was disappointed that they only offered bottled water for sale and not complimentary glasses of water.

Love mis pupusas de arroz, and their carne azada, the tacos are fantastic! Please give them a try you won't regret it.
