Sub Express - Statesville

The small, charming restaurant had a clean storefront and provided quick, friendly service. However, I was not impressed with the food. I ordered a pizza sub, and it had very few toppings, leaving me feeling like I was only eating sauce and bread. The sub was overpriced considering the lack of quality and quantity.

To the nice young man at the register (with awesome curly hair) who made unsweetened tea just for me and to the lady who made the most delicious #7 Monday Special lightly toasted on rye….y’all are AMAZING! Really enjoyed my dinner Sammy Pasta Salad

Lunch was great! The staff is excellent they know what you want even if you don't. If you leave hungry it's your own fault, the sandwiches are BIG.

They are my go to place when I need to feed everyone here. Picked up 108 boxed lunches today. All the employees love their sandwiches and pasta salad.

Good food, lots of sandwichs, sides, and soup. Comfortable dining area. Nice and helpful staff.
