The German food here is excellent! I’ve sampled quite a few dishes, despite not being very familiar with German cuisine, and I’ve enjoyed every one of them. Their traditional schnitzel is delicious, but I also suggest exploring some of their other offerings—everything I’ve tried has been fantastic!
I have to admit, I was skeptical about Staten Island offering much beyond its renowned Italian cuisine. Italian food seems to be its specialty, and while I've enjoyed some decent Spanish tapas on the island, I never expected to find a German beer hall. However, during this visit, two of my companions were avid sausage enthusiasts, so I opted for Nurnberger Bierhaus as our dinner spot on our first night in the area.
