Good food,but not great. wine prices by the glass were too high for a lunch..I ordered good home made pasta with a Ragu sausage sauce which was much to spicey for me with no warning on menu..wife had nice piece of salmon..good, but for lunch..

While visiting this city for a family event, we walked around the city looking for a place to have lunch and relax after a long drive. Siena met all our needs. Lovely ambiance, considerate service, but most importantly great food. All prepared to order,portion appropriate, priced reasonably, totally met my expectations!

Horrible service! Update In response to the owner: It's MRS. to YOU. Thanks for your condescending reply. I had the Barbarossa salad and your server couldn’t even answer how much it was to add protein. Meanwhile, you charged us for 2 Caesarsalad’s. My statement stands, we had a horrible experience here. I’ll update my review and say the food was bland andmediocre. We will NEVER come back, and WILL NOT recommend this basic restaurant to anyone. Most of these reviews seem stagedanyway. Simply elegant. Pristine raw oysters-perfectly shucked. Tender, expertly grilled octopus over an arugula, haricot verte, red onion salad that was so delicately dressed-perfectly balanced. And a delicious, robust roasted chicken and sausage entree. Well chosen, appropriate wine by the glass. Can't wait to go back. Simply elegant. .

Our waiter, Alejandro” made our dinner the perfect event from start to a delicious finish with a lemon cello cake (his dessert suggestion). Kudos to the chef, and hats off to Alejandro. ?
