Echo St. Simons

Service from Darrell was absolutely terrible! We never received bread, he never checked to see that our order came out correctly or if we needed anything else ie another glass of wine or dessert. When it became obvious Darrell would not be returning to our table, we went to hostess stand to pay our check. When we told the hostess of our experience, she offered us bread to go. Seriously?

We had a very special celebration that we chose to have here. The service was amazing, food was all delicious and the view...AMAZING! I would highly recommend this restaurant and will be back soon!

Great place, food was on point... But our server Darrell was the highlight. He truly was a great guy.

We were really excited for our reservation at Echo, however it was very disappointing. We were in the small dining room and it seemed like there was only 1 server. We immediately ordered a bottle of wine and an appetizer. It took 30 minutes for our wine to come. Our appetizer came before the wine which was very weird since we ordered a bottle and felt like that should have been easy to get. We ordered the tacos and subbed the fish for shrimp (as the menu indicates you can do). However, we were served the fish. We didn't want to make a fuss about it, but it wasn't very good. The ambiance and fact that it is the only beach front restaurant leave a lot of room for improvement. I would go back solely to take pictures outside, but would not eat there again.

My husband and I went there to celebrate our anniversary. We chose Echo because we had honeymooned at the King and Prince. I ordered the redfish special and it was delicious! The fish was cooked and prepared to perfection. My husband ordered the ribeye and thoroughly enjoyed it! Our server was wonderful, attentive but not overly! He even sent us home with a complimentary dessert for our anniversary! Overall, it was a wonderful evening and celebration!
