I stopped in early yesterday before I had movers scheduled to arrive and accidentally dropped my drink while waiting for my food. I was clearly in distress and the staff was very kind, cleaned the spill, remade my drink and even slipped some cookies in with my sandwich that I hadn’t ordered. I’ve always enjoyed the food and drinks and will continue to come here! And it’s one of the few places open before 8 am.

Village Bakery Cafe offers superb food with a great collection of sandwiches and salads that are fresh and flavorful. However, the coffee is a major letdown, often tasting burnt. If you're heading there for a meal, you won't be disappointed, but you might want to skip the coffee or grab your caffeine fix elsewhere.

First time going and it has nice atmosphere but very disappointed with the food. B.L.A.T. had one tiny tomato and the bacon was overcooked.
